Joel, gotta disagree on Touch Of Evil, which I would give at least 9.5. Wells’ direction makes the most of Heston, Akim Tamiroff (two guys who are painfully not Mexican) and everyone else. But to each his own!
Granted, but the corniness of Dennis Weaver’s and Mercedes McCambridge’s performances work so well on the big screen. By the way, it’s so much better in a movie theatre…

Fair enough! I liked the leads in this (white washing aside), just found some of the supporting ones a little corny.
