Here’s what’s blown across our consciousnesses this week.
I didn't think so. I had heard the perspective before. Dylan had numerous phases musically as well as religiously!
He's a fascinating character. The 2007 film 'I'm Not There' shows off this aspect of him interestingly as well.
Perhaps Dylan's Blowin in the Wind is too obvious but it's a classic, and as timely today as the day it was written.
Did you see A Complete Unknown yet Gareth?
Yes, in theater Christmas Day in my PJs! Loved it. The actor had a better voice than Dylan ;-)
Controversial take! (Is it though?)
“Wild is the Wind” is a fantastic song. I’ve always been partial to Nina Simone’s rendition (https://open.spotify.com/track/3muwYfpLZGYsvrrssEzrxF) but also enjoy Bowie’s version (https://open.spotify.com/track/7ynwkFhXbrQqnMIWqFfRUS)
Love both of these. Nina!
As another guy with a ponytail, there's nothing quite like hanging on a Friday night with the two of you. My fav. wind pick: The Wind in the Willows <3
